Where:

  • PPP is the power required (in watts),

  • P1P_1P1​ and P2P_2P2​ are the inlet and outlet pressures (in Pascals),
  • η\etaη is the efficiency of the compressor.

This equation helps in sizing compressors, optimizing energy consumption, and ensuring efficient operation in various industrial applications.
